ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Feb (short for February)!

I’ve always been a musical being but that really started coming out when I was four and began playing the piano by ear.

My journey into music has taken me from those early piano days to singing and, eventually, to teaching.

While I began with informal training, I experienced the frustrations that most students and untrained singers experience.  My desire to understand and master my voice led me to work with several voice coaches over the years which has helped me gain the knowledge and expertise needed as a singer and teacher. I eventually formalised my training through certification, where I gained the scientific and technical knowledge to take my own singing – and now my students’ – to the next level.

As a teacher, I believe that everyone has the potential to sing. Singing is a skill that can be developed, and learning to match pitch and control your voice doesn’t require innate talent. It requires the desire to learn, improve, and enjoy the journey. Having always wanted to teach, I knew that combining my love for music and good ear with my passion for teaching would be a fulfilling way to make a difference. Today, as a contemporary singing teacher, I use my experience, empathy, and technical knowledge to create a safe, inspiring environment where students can explore their voices, build confidence, and express themselves.
